Would you like to join our Board?

Support Choices is a project created by a partnership between two organisations - Outside the Box and the Care and Wellbeing Co-op and has been running since January 2019. It is funded by the Scottish Government through the Support in the Right Direction Programme.

Support Choices is now setting up as an organisation in its own right and will shortly be applying for charitable status and we are looking for people who are interested in this area to come forward and help us become the best organisation we can. 

We are looking for people to join our new Board, who have a range of skills and experience and who are willing to help form and guide the organisation and build on the foundation of the work already carried out.

Ideally the board will include care users and those with experience of the social care system and we are also keen to have people with financial experience and those who have knowledge of the statutory and voluntary sectors. 

It doesn’t matter if you haven’t been on a board before as there will be training in the different aspects provided.  The main criteria are interest and enthusiasm and the willingness to give a little time and effort.
